"I am writing the story that will never end in my heart."
Korean Folk Village, Creators Project & Korean Boyfriend!
Hey everyone! Seeing as I am probably going away this weekend, I'll try to update on what has happened the last few weeks. I'll try to keep it really short and simple. ^__^ I hope I can start trying to update regularly, but everytime I want to write, something comes up and I forget. T___T

Korean Folk Village
On September 22nd, the Hi-Club organized a Hi-Club day where international students and their buddies go to the Korean Folk Village and look around there and even carve some precious memories in pottery during a workshop. I wish we had some more time in this village, but it was fun nonetheless. We saw a horse riding show and when they wanted to stand with five people on two horses (look at the pictures), the top one fell at the first try! But he was a boss, stood up and just tried again. Round of applause for this guy! They probably fall all the time, but it was still really impressive.

The pottery workshop.. Everyone thought we would be making our own pots, but none of that was true. The pots were already made, but we were allowed to carve our own art in it. Most people just wrote something along the lines of "Sungkyunkwan University 2012!!" and asked their friends to write something.

I drew a panda. And did those things mentioned above. Hah. ORIGINALITY! /bricked/

But yeah, Korean Folk Village was really nice and I would like to go back and look at some places I missed. It really shows how they lived years back and some old traditions. Really nice to see if you're interested in the culture. :)

Creators Project
One the same day, but in the evening, we went to Creators Project. This is a concert but also kind of an art festival. It's for free and when we heard 2NE1 and Drunken Tiger would perform.. of course, we would go. We were afraid they were performing as one of the first, but they were actually one of the last. Of course, why would they be first. At first, we were just sitting on the grass, listening to the several DJs, but I got the opportunity to sit against the fence so I would have a spot on the first row. Damn right, I had one.

I saw 2NE1 and Drunken Tiger very close. 2NE1 was really nice and Drunken Tiger said 'fuck' at least 30 times in maybe 3 minutes? He also said something along the lines of 'fuck white people' because he was talking about PSY's success and how it got on CNN and Ellen and what not. And idk, Drunken Tiger is an angry man haha. Or he just doesn't give a damn.

After Drunken Tiger, we wanted to go home, but we heard Idiotape playing (we didn't know who they were at first) but damn! They have some nice electronic music! Not bad, not bad at all! My friends went totally insane with the dancing, while I just stood there, moving along to the beat a bit and just enjoying the music.

I came home around 1.30am. Holy crap. That's so not me. But it was worth it.

Korean Boyfriend
Okay, this is just going to be really short but it was so funny, I had to share it. I think it was on the 26th or something like that, when Nora, Sam and I went to Dongdaemun to do some shopping. We all got some nice things, I even bought a cute little outfit for my cute little niece back home. But! That wasn't the best thing that night.

When we arrived at the boys' department, this guy with a little shop beckoned us to come closer so we did. We looked around at the clothes (my god, I love boys' clothes, not gonna lie ... hence why I wear my brother's clothes and actually am considered a tomboy) and talked a little bit about where we're from and such. While I was still looking at some jackets and sweaters, Sam and Nora were talking next to the shop, leaving me with the random Korean shop keeper. All of a sudden, he showed me a sweater going
"Maybe this is something for your boyfriend?"
"I don't have a boyfriend."
"No? /shakes hand/ Hi. I'm your boyfriend!"
Uhm. Okay? He threw his arm around me too, saying he was my boyfriend from then on. He also turned to Nora and Sam, asking if they had boyfriends. "No?" "Oh, then I'll be your boyfriend too!"

We laughed so much and after a while left to look at other clothes. When we were near the subway station, Nora and I decided we had to go back to take a picture with him. I can't believe we did this.
"Hey.. Can we.. take a picture with you?"
"Eh? Why?"
"......"
"Why? :o"
"You said.. you were our boyfriend."
"OH YES, YES! I am your boyfriend!"

BAM. Got his arm around me again and Nora put her arm around him too while he did the same to her and Sam got our picture. It was embarrassing, but really funny. We should go back and ask his name.
