"I am writing the story that will never end in my heart."
I AM SO SORRY - Update from September 29 till .. now.
SO SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING AND ALL. I'd love to give you guys a detailed update about everything - my memory is not failing me now - but it will take me days to write that. I'm really sorry. :( I always get distracted whenever I want to write. So.... So I will just tell you what I did then in short? :D Some of them will be facebook updates. I'm telling you, just add me on facebook (if I know you irl or from twitter, I'm happy to add you ^^) because I update their pretty much daily.

Chuseok weekend (Korean thanksgiving - 29/30 September) -  I posted something on facebook that pretty much sums up the entire day:
Just came back from a wonderful day at Lotte World with Qing Xia, Zou Yun, Ami Fujiya and Alinne Téllez. Atlantis is definitely my favourite, such a bad ass rollercoaster. I would go back, only for that ride. Never going to do free fall one anymore, though. Never. Again. Also, we saw a little boy who lost his parents so we tried to help him. Turned out he was Chinese and we could actually really help him! It was so emotional when he and his mother got reunited. The poor kid cried so hard. ;~~~; (Pretty much brought us to tears too.) And of course, I won a frickin Luffy plushy after so many tries. Also, the neighbourhood here is pretty much deserted because of Chuseok. Happy Chuseok everyone!

Days after Lotte World I was pretty sick. Cold + flu and ugh. When my psychology professor even offered me to go home, I stayed in class. As soon as I got back, I passed out on my bed. Yeah, that was not fun. I missed my mom and her chicken soup terribly at that time. Being sick in a foreign country is seriously not a lot of fun. T^T

OCTOBER 4 - 7
October 4th (facebook update): "RANT RANT RANT: When I woke up, I thought I was better. I wasn't. Voice cracked multiple times during the day. Presentation got postponed because we didn't have time for it anymore. Happy and sad at the same time. (Yay, more time to prepare! Boo, now I need to mentally prepare myself to give a presentation again.) Couldn't participate in the lottery for the TVXQ fansign event because apparently that closed at 5pm. No one told me this T~~~~~T. BUT. Ended my night with the free PSY concert where I got crushed and stomped on by Koreans. At one point, I got fed up and pushed back. Do not underestimate my power. >:( But it was fun seeing PSY in the size of a giant ant? :D

Meh. I should update my blog."

Oh the irony of the last sentence. Woops. Excuse me! But yes, I've seen PSY! WOOP WOOP! From far, but hey, I saw his outline? :'D

October 5th: SKKU Festival (yep, festival at my university). Best thing was the concert. Lots of cheerleading squads - from SKKU and even other universities! Got some singers, even a PSY look-a-like haha. But the best thing were of course, Dynamic Duo and Miss A! FOR FREE! HAH! I got trampled and was surrounded by tall people, but I could still see them from pretty up close, so I'm pleased. :D

October 6th: Islamic Cultural Festival and Fireworks Festival. I obviously went to the former for the Indonesian food. God, I miss that food. I even want to the stand three times and the second time, they understood I was Indonesian. Yup yup. And the fireworks at night were really nice too! ^___^

October 7th: ... another concert. Here comes the facebook update! "I will get killed for what I'm about to say, but.. I've seen DBSK, Super Junior and SNSD perform for FREE at the Gangnam Festival just a few hours ago. We were standing right next to the catwalk, so if they decided to go to the front.. they would pass us. And SJ did that.. a lot. Eunhyuk looked at me, Siwon was waving at us, Donghae was dancing in front of us. Kangin was jumping around like crazy. Seohyun was making hearts to everyone. Sunny ran all over the stage. HoMin didn't go to the front a lot unfortunately..

But.. Guys. My life. It has been made. Best concert ever. (Especially because it was for free!) BUT I THOUGHT OF ALL OF YOU OKAY? DONT HATE ME. T_T"

Another concert. For free. I am totally blessed to experience all of this. T^T Best night in Seoul until now, my goodness. I could die happily.

So yeah, those were 4 days full of concerts and festivals. Exhausting, but so worth it!

October 12 - 14: I went to Jinju and Busan with Nora and Evée! There was a Lantern Festival in Jinju and in Busan there's.. well.. a lot of fish. The lanterns were really nice and we saw some traditional performances, even a small part of a musical! We ended up at some kind of motel, though we specifically asked the driver to go to a jjimjilbang, but this was fine too. It was awkward in the beginning though. When we turned on the tv, Korean porn was on. Immediately, we turned the tv off, thinking we were in a love motel. We only had one bed for two people (three people could fit in it though), but I decided to sleep on the ground on a futon. ^^ But then I said: try to change the channel. And we actually could! So no love motel! .... Hopefully.

In Busan, we went to Haeundae beach and walked around one of the fish markets. I barely ate any fish the entire stay because the living fish in the tanks totally creeped me out! T^T Around lunch time, I split from Nora and Evée to meet up with Natasja (friend from the Netherlands!!) seeing as it was her final day in Busan. I got a little emotional when I saw her. You can guess why. But we got some nice food (she said it was spicy what I got, but it wasn't spicy at all. Pfft.)  and went to a lovely teahouse and just hung around until I had to go back to Haeundae because the other two wanted to go to a jjimjilbang there to stay the night. I, on the other hand, started to feel kinda sick and I'd rather wanted some privacy because of that so I went to a motel by myself. It was nice to have a room for myself after 1,5 months of sharing it with someone else.

The second day in Busan, and also the last one, I went to this temple in the mountains: Beomeosa Temple. I didn't walk up the mountain, I actually got a taxi with an English speaking driver all the way up, but the way down.. My god, it took me 40 minutes. But the temple was really nice though! Even though I haven't seen everything (at least, I think I didn't see everything). The contrast of the buildings against nature is such a refreshing sight. It was also really nice to just walk around and enjoy the scenery. If you ever go to Busan, try to go to that temple.

Afterwards, I just killed some time near the centrail train station until I could get onto a bus (which was 40 minutes from the train station -____- .. it was only 5 minutes from Beomeosa Temple omg) to go back to Seoul. I got approached by some girls. I didn't know why, but after a while they started talking about God and Mother of Heaven or something like that. It was actually quite interesting, hearing her (only one girl her English was good enough) talk so passionately about it. She couldn't really finish her talk though, seeing as I had to go on the subway to catch my bus. We exchanged numbers, but I didn't really contact her yet and she didn't either. Not that I mind that much.

I barely catched my bus, but I made it. I switched seats with this older man so he could sit next to his wife. Sure, why not. I actually did the same when I went TO Busan. A guy wanted to sit next to his girlfriend and asked if he could change his seat with me. (Well, he asked in Korean first and then he realized I was not Korean. But I understood him anyway.) I ended up next to a sleeping guy. Meh, I slept too so that was fine.

Another exhausting but fun weekend!!

October 20th: Meeting up with Natasja to go to COEX Aquarium and afterwards show her around in my district: Hyehwa. COEX Aquarium has monkeys. And squirrels. And prairie dogs. And of course, fishes!! But the other animals.. hm, wouldn't think they would be at an aquarium. But it is a lovely aquarium and I like watching colorful ones. I even held a starfish for a couple of seconds and let some small fishes nibble on my fingers. (I am very ticklish and couldn't handle it after 2 seconds.) There was also a small show by two divers with.. I think anchovies. I even got a picture with one of the divers! :D

I look horrible though, but meh, whatever, still cool! Oh, the diver posed in another way for guys though. He used a stick to act as if he was gonna stab the guys. It was hilarious. :'D

Afterwards we went a bit insane in the Evan Records store. We bought pictures. ... PICTURES. I am very happy with my Donghae pictures, though. And Eunhyuk. And I bought a Kangin one for Pauliene. ^^

In Hyehwa, I showed Natasja the flat I'm living in and our main street. We took some pictures in the awesome photobooths, acting all silly and we also got some pizza. Afterwards, we split up again. She went back to her hotel and I went back to my flat.

And the days after that I just studied my ass off for this one exam I had (yes, only one) and it turned out to be quite easy. We had 51 focus points (questions) to learn. Meaning, we had to look up or try to come up with answers as our study material. The exam though only had 8 questions of which we had to answer only 4 (you could even choose them) plus one essay question you couldn't really study for. So I actually think I failed, because I overdid the studying part and just got so confused during the exam. Hm hm hm.

Tomorrow, probably shopping and afterwards I have to work hard again. I have a presentation coming up this Thursday and on Friday I will go to Japan for four days, so I also have to work on my homework for the week after. Meh.

But yeah, here's an update. I'm sorry for the lack of pictures, but I was trying to finish this post as soon as I could. I feel it's completely rushed and disorganized, but hey, at least I finally updated. Someone should push me to update more frequently. Yup.
